Legendary singer Manna Dey passes away in Bengaluru

Legendary singer Manna Dey who was suffering from a lung infection passed away in Bengaluru this morning at 3:33 am. He was 94. He was being treated from respiratory and renal problems.

The 94 year-old-legendary singer began his playback career in 1943 with the film Tamanna. He has sung over 3,500 songs.He is survived by his daughters Shuroma and Sumita. His wife, Sulochana, died of cancer last year.
