Swetha was born in Mumbai ,India on march 12, 1991.Swetha started her career as a child artist.Swetha Basu Prasaddid her schooling from Podar international school.Swetha Basu Prasad entered the film industry in the movie yahoo where she acted as a child artist.Later on Swetha Basu Prasadappeared in the hyundai santro ad with shahrukh khan. Swetha Basu Prasad got many offers after that.Along with acting in the movies Swetha has also acted in many television ads with big companies like samsung , pepsi and bournvita.Swetha Basu Prasad made her debut in the movie KOTHA BAANGAARU LOKAM , a Telugu movie and was paid 50 lakh rupees for that.Swetha Basu Prasad played the leading lady in that movie.
